This vintage leather lounge (DS 142) was originally designed for De Sede by Dr Winfried Totzek an orthopaedic surgeon, psychotherapist, sports physician that took into account the psychological and ergonomic needs for the human body. Both armrests and the back rest can be adjusted to allow for different relaxation positions. This sofa was manufactured by Musterring, a German company founded by furniture architect Josef Höner in 1938, This company is renowned for their high quality materials and craftmanship, they are still operating today.
